Submit to God’s Sovereign hand in all circumstances and pursue him above all. Especially in our relationships we must seek His glory and walk in His ways, loving well and keeping our commitments.
God has graciously designed relational intimacy for us to learn to serve one another’s most personal needs in the context of commitment and the goal of reflecting God’s self-sacrificing and sanctifying love.
We must choose whether we will unite ourselves with Christ. Baptism is the biblical call to outwardly be identified as one with Jesus Christ. As His we proclaim our commitment to trust, submit to, and follow after our Savior and Lord.
Believers are members of Christ and the very dwelling place of the Holy Spirit, purchased by Christ’s own death. This sets us apart from the world and what we live for and seek after – the glory of God and not our own pleasures nor personal gain.
Evil influencers who boast in their own way will lead the Body to destruction. Because we are new in Christ we must allow the kingdom to transform our entire fellowship as we abide in the influences of good and clear out those who reject God’s way to pursue sin.
As part of God’s kingdom, I am His servant, ultimately accountable to Him. So I live for Christ’s sake, not my own, as a trustworthy steward of the mysteries of God and as a child of the King.
Our lives will be tested and our efforts for the kingdom will be rewarded. Have confidence in Christ as your enduring foundation and invest your life in building the temple of God: Believers in Jesus.
