The path of a disciple…
The fact that Jesus has been raised from the dead is life changing. It validates his promise of salvation from our sins knowing that He will reign over all and even abolish death.
God gives us guidelines in the use of our gifts to edify one another in a way that promotes peace and order in submission to God’s order and design.
Our Gifts are given to benefit the body. We must passionately use them in a way that others can understand and be transformed by God’s love and truth shared by each other.
Our Love must continually flow out of God’s self-sacrificing, never-failing love for us. Reflecting Christ’s love must become our highest goal and guide all of our activity.
Jesus made the ultimate sacrifice and laid down his life for us. Obedience to the Father’s plan involves sacrifice so others can be impacted by the Good News of His Redeeming Love.
Jesus obeyed God’s will and desire and became a servant. He became a man and lived out the very heart of God, setting aside his own will and caring for the needs of others. Showing love through service opens hearts to receive the Good News and share in the Good News of Great Joy this Christmas.
