Jesus obeyed God’s will and desire and became a servant. He became a man and lived out the very heart of God, setting aside his own will and caring for the needs of others. Showing love through service opens hearts to receive the Good News and share in the Good News of Great Joy this Christmas.
It began with surrender
The Love God gives us to share is not about my feelings or desires, but what is best for the other person, even if costly and delayed.
The most profound expressions of giftedness have no lasting power to impact others, ourselves, or make an eternal impact without love. Love is the best way to live, adding impact to our effort!
As members of Christ’s body we reflect the variety of His creative ability, for which each one is to be honored and provided the same care as an integrated whole.
God uniquely empowers each member of his body with a special gift to serve one another and live as one body joined together in Christ. Key Verse: for even as the body is one and yet has many members, and all the members of the body, though they are many, are one body, so also is Christ.
